Second Anniversary of the Hong Kong Original TKD Council

1st.May 2011 was the day of the formation of the HKTKDC exactly two years ago,Before the HKTKDC,there were four different INOs/MOs within Hong Kong,with the encouragement of President Choi and Master Trevor Nicholls,HKTKDC was formed to consolidate all INO/MOs in one country under one umbrella.The original idea was came from Master Trevor Nicholls and approved by President Choi.

Two years after,under constant supervision by the ITF Secretary General Master Trevor Nicholls and the leadership of HKTKDC chairman Master David Lau,we have successfully hosted one international Umpire Certificate course conducted by Master Trevor Nicholls, one International Instructor's course conducted by President Choi.
Also hosted Two very successful local ITF tournaments where many local Hong Kong schools, colleges and universities participated.
We started with only 4 different groups,two years later, The HKTKDC is consist of 12 different TKD groups in Hong Kong and we are proud to say that we are one of the largest TKD organisation within Hong Kong.
We strongly believe under the guidance and support of President Choi and Master Trevor Nicholls,we will continue to expand to be the leading ITF-TKD organisation in our region.
We also have constant close relationship with neighbouring countries for exchanging techniques and ideas,such as Master Muleta of Australia, Master Sng of Singapore, Master Bathi of Malaysia, Mr.Obon of Taiwan.
Our success will be an example for the rest of the ITF world that we can work with each other successfully,and we are welcome for anyone who is interested to share in our success.
On the same day we arranged a monthly HKTKDC regular training,where different INO/MOs can send their instructors/students to learn from Master David Lau and senior instructors their mutual ITF techniques.
To celebrate the 2nd anniversary, Master David Lau and HKTKDC sponsors have treat 120 members of the HKTKDC for a night banquet where every member really enjoyed very much.
